In short I'm very relunctant to postpone the switchover and
I sincerly think VA Linux won't be mad at us because they were not
aware of the exact date of the switchover.
If they do know that the switch is planned, then I think it is ok to
do the switch now.
(It looks like you did it, so I hope it's ok.)
