Rob Liwnood <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Other License:
Package: GNU Open Object Platform
System name: goop
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
The GNU Open Object Platform (GOOP) is a project to provide unified support for
SOAP, UDDI, and other emerging web service standards for Free Software projects.
Some work has already started, based on code from the Soma web server (<a
href=\"http://soma.auntfloyd.com/\">http://soma.auntfloyd.com/</a>), to provide
libraries for the Java language. Support for other languages will likely also
be included, as will documentation (including tutorials) and sample services.
