The comment is partly wrong.
cvs -z3
address@hidden:/cvsroot/ebtables
co ebtables
shows because most projects have a single module named after
the project name. If you replace ebtables with . (dot) it
will work. Using /cvsroot is wrong although it works for
historical reasons.
Cheers.

Hello,
My project name is 'ebtables'
I have been trying the commands described at the cvs
page of my project to get access to the cvs server.
the command says:
cvs -z3
address@hidden:/cvsroot/ebtables
co ebtables
Now this did _not_ work, the server said the module
ebtables does not exist.
After trying and trying, I came up with
cvs -z3 address@hidden:/cvsroot co
ebtables
so, /cvsroot instead of /cvsroot/ebtables. This _did_
work. Now I can download my cvs tree. I don't seem to
have write access yet (cvs add something doesn't work)
but I guess I'll find out what to do...
Looking at http://subversions.gnu.org I see alot of
other projects that are empty and for which the
anonymous login suggested at the cvs page does not
work. Maybe the owners of those had the same problem?
Maybe change the informationon the cvs repository page
of the projects?
