There are backups for Savannah. However, we highly recommend
that you do your own backups. In the "project admin" page
there is a link to a tarbal of the whole CVS tree. You can
download it on a regular basis. It is updated daily, if the
CVS tree changes.

I've uploaded a CVS repository to my new project, and I
was wondering if savannah (or subversions) backs it up
regularly. If not, is there an easy way that I can
back it up myself? One such easy way would be if I had
shell access: I could then tar up the repository and
scp it to some other machine.
