A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Bill White <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Catholic Calendar
System name: cal-catholic
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

My project calculates the Roman Catholic liturgical date for any given calendar
date, and presents related data (Mass readings, Liturgy of the Hours, etc.) for
that date.
It\'s intended as an extension of Ed Reingold\'s calendar package for Emacs,
and is written in emacs lisp.

Future developments will include Mass readings from the lectionaries currently
used in the United States, and implementation of other liturgical calendars,
such as the pre-1969 Roman Rite calendar, Eastern Catholic, Orthodox and
Anglican calendars, and national variations of them. Then perhaps liturgical
calendars and information for Islam, Judaism, etc. etc.

The name \"Catholic Calendar\" can be used in one sense to refer to the
implementation of the Roman Catholic calendar, and in another sense (catholic =
universal) to refer to the implementations of other calendars.

It already exists and you can see it at
