A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.

Toni Mattila <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Other License:
Package: Lighweight Web/Email
System name: welight
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Project is collection of Perl based reusable non OO-libraries.
The libraries usefull in portal / email application development.
There will be libraries (and example frontends) for following:
1. Encrypted HTTP cookies containing multiple values, compressed.
2. Session store
3. MIME message handling
4. Client / Server core
5. Safe filehandling, simple lightweight text-based database solution
6. String manipulation libraries suitable for web apps and email
7. Lightweight HTML template library
8. More to come.
The focus on these libraries are speed and simpleness, OO is
avoided when possible.
It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
