A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Christian Neumann <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Modular Homepage System
System name: mhc
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Its a set of perl scripts for creating/maintaining homepages.
The base scripts control output/database handling etc and can load several
moduls for providing new functions like message boards, newspages, polls etc..
Standard Pages are saved in XML. Every Page has its own ID, so for example its
easy to link against each other.
Because of its object oriented design, you can for example choose between
several database modules.
The main goals are to create a fast and easy to install tool for creating
websites providing many modules (message boards, polls, news, guestbook, wiki,
bugtracking, ...) and good documentation.
It does not exist but we work hard for releasing the base scripts and modules
soon.
