Hi Olivier,
As a High Energy physiscists myself, who will have to leave very soon to catch
a plane for a project group meeting at CERN, I'm very sorry to have to reject
your project. The reason is because of some restrictions in the ROOT license
that make it non-free. Your project would be free, and even GPL'ed, but people
who work with purely free systems such as Debian GNU/Linux could not use your
project because ROOT cannot be included in Debian GNU/Linux. I hope we can
someday convince ROOT maintainers to change their license.
Cheers,
Jaime
