Sorry for the long delay, I am cleaning my backlog and I found this
request, but no answer, so, here it goes:

You need a newsgroup-to-email gateway (GNU Mailman has one).

Once you have that gateway up and running, you just need to point it
to the GNATS mail address (address@hidden).

There are some things you might want to take in consideration:

  + Every thing sent to gnu.emacs.bug (including SPAM) will create a
    new ticket, unless it matches the regexp GNATS is looking in the
    subject to add the message to the ticket.

  + There should be a special category for Emacs on GNATS (I don't
    know if there is already one, maybe there is).

  + The messages being sent to gnu.emacs.bug, unless they are properly
    formatted (see GNATS docs), they will go to the 'pending' category
    by default, and manually should be re-assigned category.

    This can be overcome by setting an independent email address and
    GNATS database for gnu.emacs.bugs, but this needs some GNATS admin
    intervention.

I know that the 'libc' guys are using GNATS "heavily" and they have a
tool (or script) to automatically send bug reports to GNATS, but I
don't know if they have any newsgroup-to-email gateway, though.

No problem, you might want to start using GNATS via gnatsweb first.
