A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Abhinav Yerra <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: mbsd
Other License:
Package: OpenSSL++
System name: opensslpp
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
My project is a C++ front end to OpenSSL. It will do basic things like create
SSL Sockets, which hiding the complicated issues of doing it in C. It will also
provide a few other crypto algorithms including the Advance Encryption
Standard(AES), TwoFish and other AES canidates.
Why am I creating this? As a C++ programmer, I hade doing the hard way of doing
things, and would like to keep all my programs very simple. One thing I found
when I was doing SSL C code was that the code made my program look way more
complicated then it really was. When I looked on the internet there seemed to
be no C++ interface so I decided to create my own interface that will keep
everything simple.
