A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
RObert Ribnitz <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: PHPREFER
System name: phprefer
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
This is a small project aiming at solving a simple task. Refer a website to a
friend, and do so with minimal effort.
The project ocnsists of a PHP4 script that analyses the referer, and sends a
message generated from some template. At the moment there\'s just a basic check
on the referrer of the site, so that the possibility of abuse (free mail) is
minimal. The referrer can also not be altered.
Users are able to specify their name and email address, plus the email address
they want the referal sent to. They can also add optional comments .
A working, personalised version is in use at http://www.insa.ch/products.shtml
