A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
John Darrington <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Working Days
System name: wday
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Wday tests dates for public holidays or lists public holidays.
Wday tells you which days are public holidays in a specified country/state.
It uses an simple database containing the rules by
which various administrations determine the dates of public holidays, and
applies these rules to any arbitrary date.
It contains an algorithm which attempts to guess your country/state based upon
various system and user settings, but also allows you to explicitly tell the
program this information.
Wday is fully internationalised.
The program is complete and fully documented, but doesn\'t yet have many
database entries. You\'ll be able to see it as soon as I\'ve found somewhere
to host it.
