Nicolas Darnis <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Package: Log Writer Library
System name: lwl
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

The LWL project is a library that allow C programmers to write formatted log
lines from programms such as servers for example. For using LWL library, a
programm must creates a LWL handle and free it when it\'s no longer usefull. At
the creation of this handle, a lot of things are configureable to modify the
format of a line to write. For example, a handle could be configured to write
systematically the ip of the host, the date, the time, the priority, etc.

This project exists and the tgz was send to Loic Dachary.
