A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Ishwar Joshi <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Y Kernel
System name: ykernel
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

The project aims to write a new kernel that will adhere to the POSIX standard.

The kernel will aim to be neither monolithic nor microkernel based.

One possible approach is the exo-kernel approach.

No code exists yet. No design documents exist yet.

Currently, a throw-away prototype is being coded based on the
linux kernel purely for educational purposes.
