A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Ingo Wichmann <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: pxrpm
System name: pxrpm
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
pxrpm will offer some options i miss when using the rpm-command.
So you can create a database of rpm-packages included in a cd or somewhere in
the filesystem.
Now, if you want to install a rpm-package, you give pxrpm the name of the
rpm-package and it installs this package along with all the packages required.
Or it gets you a list of packages that a package requires.
Why is it called pxrpm? Well i\'ve eXtended RPM with Perl and i needed a name
for it ...
