A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Pedro Bastos <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: mbsd
Other License:
Package: Machmon
System name: machmon
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Description:
My project is called machmon and it is a light-weight and
customisable ncurses-based tool for monitoring UNIX systems (it
currently supports only BSD-derived systems, but we are working on a
Linux port). We also plan to support monitoring of many machines
at the same time, using the SNMP or other protocol designed to
transfer information about a machine status securely over a network
(perhaps use some crypto). It already exists as a beta version, which
I\'m planning to organize very soon with a CVS tree. Currently I\'m gathering
some developers I used to work with many years ago.
