Hi,

Currently, on savannah, it's impossible to create a new accounts. The
error is kerberos related.

When someone try to create an account on savannah, the savannah engine check if
a
kerberos account with the same name exist. For example, if you want to
create rao on savannah, it will say that address@hidden account already
exists and abort the account creation.

Now, whatever the name we choose (as heythisisatest or humstrange), it
says that such a @gnu.org account already exists.

The problem may be only savannah related. But we haven't changed anything
related to kerberos procedures, as far I know, since a long long
time. I'll try to check every I can on the savannah engine.

Anyway, I would like to know if everything is working correctly with
fencepost and kerberos, if you are currently doing modification, if
you seen error message on logs, anything that could help to understand
what is going on.

We can just switch off the kerberos account verification, so we can
says that this problem is really big deal for savannah.

Regards,
