Tom Goulet <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Iface
System name: iface
Type: 2

Description:
Iface is a user interface library in Python. It is capable of several output
modes for differing scenarios, and limited callbacks. It is probably the
fastest way to give your Python program an Ircii-like interface.

A user can input iface_ui and run iface_ui.initialise() to activity the
interface. The interface can handle command history, cursor key scrolling,
and input buffer scrolling. The output mode can be changed on the fly to line
based, multiline, screen, or char (which works in Emacs). This contains no
project-dependent code. There are some significant limits on Iface, such as
there being no output scrollback in screen mode.

It already exists, but it\'s part of GDNP Test. You can see the file named
iface_ui.py, and the files in the directory iface inside this tarball:

Other Software Required:
