Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

David Baelde <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License: Package: Sam and Dav\'s Fractal Compressor
System name: sdfractcompr
Type: GNU

Your project isn't part of the GNU project (yet). If you want it to be part of the GNU project please contact the GNU project so they can evaluate your project.

For now I suggest you change it to non-gnu. If your project gets aproved we can change it to GNU.

Description:
This is a school project which aims at compressing image files using the
fractal compression method.
It is written in Objective Caml.

Other Software Required:
Objective Caml 3.06

Could you give me some more information about Objective Caml 3.06? I need to know if it is a free (as in freedom) language.

Could you create a tarball with the code as it
now exists and make it available to a temporary URL
(and add this url to your description while submitting
the project)?

We will help you fix potential legal issues.
For example, in order to release your project under
the GPL you should write copyright notices and copying
permission statements at the beginning of every source code
file, following the advice of
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html

Could you resubmit your project once it's done?
You can resubmit your project with ease by copying
the big re-registration URL provided in the mail
you received at submission

Regards,

Rudy
