A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Jerome Alet <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: PyKota
System name: pykota
Type: non-GNU
Description:
This project is a complete and configurable Printing Quota System for CUPS. It
features configurable storage, currently only PostgreSQL, but LDAP, MySQL and
others are planned. Soft and hard limits are supported, as well as grace delay.
It works by asking the printer itself about the real number of printed pages,
instead of relying on an input filter to count the pages which may result in
incorrect numbers in case of paper jams or other similar problems.
a downloadable tarball of the current devel version (old version is actually in
production but the tarball\'s content doesn\'t work) is available from:
http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/pykota.tgz
Other Software Required:
CUPS, Python, PostgreSQL (for now, any SQL backend later)
