Description:
Gaelle is a web application that helps management of group of people like lug 
(linux user group) association, developpement team ... 
 
A login system allow members to add/modify/restrict information that concerned 
themselves. In addition a visibility can be attched to almost every piece of 
information. For example one can restrict her personal phone number access to 
member only, in order to prevent anonymous visitor to use it. 
 
Gaelle also keeps track of subscription/dues/donation made by members and can 
remind of renewal in case a periodic subscription has been defined.  
 
The gaelle philosophy is that there is no administrator but members with 
capability. So that, a member can be granted a capability for just only one 
precise administrative task, in opposition to  giving him either the right to 
do anything or no right at all. 
 
Further, care have been taken to make gaelle extensible and easily integrable, 
including the possiblity to use some component out of the gaelle pages. For 
example the login/capability component can be use in a custom page for just 
about 5 lines of code. 
 
Gaelle is written in php/postgreSQL, use gettext for internationalizisation and 
developped with security in mind.  
 
It is released under the GNU General Public License.
