Description:
Beaver is a graphical, based on the GTK+ library, programmer\'s text editor.  
It aims to be a simplistic editor with many tools and conveniences aimed mainly 
at developers.  It is written in C.  It\'s intended environment is UNIX.

An example of what Beaver intends to do is syntax highlighting, complex 
searching/replacing, function lists, etc.  

A pre-release of the latest version can be retrieved from 
http://www-unix.oit.umass.edu/~msterry/beaver-0.3.0-rc2.tar.gz.  The current 
web site can be viewed at http://www.beaver-project.org.


Other Software Required:
There is currently no dependency except for GTK+; in the future, it may depend 
on grep or sed.
