This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Mike Sperber <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Emacs Lisp Package Repository
System name: elisp-code
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This project hosts various Emacs Lisp packages.

It is meant to facilitate development and contributions to Emacs Lisp
packages which run in both variants of Emacs. Currently, developing
such packages often involves shuffling patches back and forth, and
generally carries a high communication overhead. By hosting such
packages in a single place, more cooperation will become possible, and
valuable developer time will be freed up.

The project shall carry projects for which copyright papers have
either been signed or will be signed upon a successful initial
development phase. Several package authors have already committed to
placing packages in this project, and will contact the Savannah
administrators as soon as the project has been created.

Other Software Required:
GNU Emacs or XEmacs

Other Comments:
Source code (mostly in the form of RCS files) will be emailed by the authors
soon.
