Matthew Bogosian <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: XOOPS Module Development
System name: xoops-mods
Type: non-GNU

Description:
The XOOPS Module Development project is dedicated to the updating and
maintenance of XOOPS modules, and creation of new modules for use with XOOPS.

The XOOPS project is continually adding and re-architecting the core. Existing
modules must be reviewed and updated to take advantage of the new features.
This project is partly dedicated to that effort. Additionally, this project
will include new module development efforts to expand the base of usable,
reliable and actively maintained XOOPS modules for XOOPS users everywhere.

Existing XOOPS module source code can currently be found via
http://www.xoops.org/.

Other Software Required:
XOOPS2 (http://www.xoops.org/) - This is GPL\'d software but is not normally
found with most free OS distributions; it must be downloaded and installed.
XOOPS2 depends on MySQL, PHP4 and a web server (e.g., Apache).
