Summary:  cvs checkout hangs

Original Submission:  When I try to do the following cvs just hangs:

cvs -d :ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/gcc -q checkout -P gcc/libjava/java/awt

This doesnt happen on other directories under libjava/java I tried.

Seems fixed now.

There is a problem that is not related to CVS ('ls' also fails). There may be a 
problem with the hard-drive :/
