Everton da Silva Marques <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Jabuti Extensible Mailer
System name: jema
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This is a project to build an experimental, extensible mail transport
agent (SMTP MTA). Its major distinguishing feature as mail server is
to consist of a tiny core engine which would be heavily extended throught
addition of plugins written in a high-level programming
language.

Guile is currently under evaluation as extension mechanism. High extensibility
with ease is the most important design goal.

A secondary goal is to build an extremely simple and solid core
engine in C. It's expected such engine is going to be so small that
it will be mostly done in a couple of weeks. Further development
efforts will create customary SMTP funcionality with Guile plugins.

Another interesting plan is to design the whole mail system to
operate as asynchronously as possible. This would permit a single
process to remotely deliver copies of the same message to multiple
hosts simultaneously and quickly, saving local system resources,
and other goodies.

There is no source code yet.
