A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Daniel Tschernatsch <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: IP Calculator
System name: ipcalc
Type: non-GNU

Description:
'IP Calculator' aims to provide a feature rich but easy to use tool (for X11)
for IP network calculus like subnetting and routing. By the time of this
writing, I sent the source code to address@hidden I tested the native
compilation and execution of currently existing source code with GNU GCJ 3.4
from Debian/unstable and noticed that the AWT GUI is working pretty well. When
the gcc 3.5 is released, I'd like to switch over from AWT to Swing. The program
will be internationalized for the German and US-English languages using
resource files. It will integrate online help and some seperate tools like
'ping' and 'route'. I am trainee in a german IT-Security company and I want to
give something to the community while I am learning to do networking. Such a
tool could be used everywhere someone wants to setup complicated networks but
doesn't have a calculator, a pencil and a piece of paper there.

Other Software Required:

Other Comments:
I mailed the first working source code to address@hidden with the subject "new
gnu project: 'ipcalc' - sourcecode". My name is Daniel Tschernatsch.
