If you submit news to your own project and approve it, it will show on your
project's page, https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/ttyrpld/, under the
section "Latest News".
To submit news to your own project, visit the "News" link under the "Public
Area" section. Note, you will have to approve news you submit, use the
"Manage Submitted News" link to do so.
You don't have to worry about it finding it's way to the front page by
mistake.
