A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Johan Walles <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: LibCrashDump
System name: crashdump
Type: non-GNU

Description:
I intend to create a library that can be LD_PRELOADed onto other apps. If the
goal application crashes (i.e. receives a SIGSEGV), the library prints a stack
trace of what the program was doing when it crashed.

Libunwind (http://www.hpl.hp.com/research/linux/libunwind/) will be used for
retrieving the stack traces.

I have not written any source code for this yet.

Other Software Required:
Libunwind: http://www.hpl.hp.com/research/linux/libunwind/
It's available under the MIT license:
http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php

Other Comments:
My first goal is actually to be able to submit useful bug reports for gdb
without having to deal with core files...
