[Savannah-hackers] How to access GNU groff CVS?

GNU CVS humans:

I am trying to access the GNU groff CVS, which I understand has just
been moved from ffii to gnu. I have some instructions that look
like this:

1. export CVSROOT=:ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/groff
2. export CVS_RSH=ssh
3. cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden/cvsroot/groff co groff

But when I execute line 3 I get this error message:

Local: Bad packet length 1349676916.
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

Help?
