Category: Developer Web CVS
Priority: 5 - Normal
Severity: 3 - Ordinary
Resolution: Done
Privacy: Private
Assigned to: mjflick
Originator Email: address@hidden
Status: Closed

Summary: New GNU project (swbis) can't update web page via CVS

Original Submission:
Problem: CVS is asking for a password when I do:

CVS_RSH=ssh cvs -z3 address@hidden:/webcvs/swbis co swbis

Here is the fingerprint of the public key which should
be registered for the 'swbis' project.
address@hidden tmp]$ ssh-add -l
2048 8f:66:71:db:4e:e8:8c:f3:67:df:9e:ef:f0:3b:a6:8e id_dsa_gnu2 (DSA)

'swbis' is a new project, so I have never had this
working, Maybe I need to enable CVS?

One of Savannah's backend scripts, the one that handles updating user ssh keys
locally on the server, is not operational (currently it's under repair). Due
to this, you will not be able to successfully use developer cvs until it's
fixed.
