Andrew Sayman <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Crack-Attack!
System name: crack-attack
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Crack-attack is a 3d arcade-style puzzle game with similar gameplay to Tetris
Attack! It's implemented in C++ using OpenGL and GLUT. This game is entirely
functional, but has been unmaintained for almost two years now.
Future plans include a fully functioning front-end to crack-attack in GTK+-2.0.
The game is played by aligning 3d blocks in rows or columns of three or more.
When this happens, they are destroyed and the score is tallied. If four or more
are destroyed in a row, garbage blocks fall to impede your progress. OpenGL and
GLUT are used to generate various light and particle effects.
GTK+-2.0 will be used to provide a graphical front-end to launching the
program. It will also be used to create a game-lobby to make it easier to find
other players, and possibly host tournaments.
Sound and music will be provided with libSDL.
The original maintainer's website no longer has a valid link to the source
files, so here is a mirror:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo/distfiles/crack-attack-1.1.10.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
OpenGL, GLUT, libSDL, and GTK+-2.0

Other Comments:
Crack-Attack! was originally made by Daniel Nelson (aka, Aluminum Angel), but
he has since stopped maintaining the project and no longer seems to be
responding to emails. I am looking for a place to continue this project and
integrate a few patchsets that are lying dormant and slowly disappearing from
the internet.
