| I am still in the research phase. Because of the interconnectedness of
| many
| business functions and data I need to give careful consideration to the
| structure of the system. I have chosen to wait until I have a solid set
| of
| documentation to work from before I begin implementation.

| Although I designed a business management system for my last employer
| (no, I
| did not sign a non-disclosure/non-compete with them), it was very
| specific to
| that business. In order to be flexible enough for any type of business I
| will
| need to come up with a drastically different design.

| Although I have not written any code yet, I am confident that I can
| complete
| this project. I have been writing software since 1992 (mbasic-80 under
| CP/M on
| a Kaypro II) and have worked with a variety of languages (Intel and VAX
| assembly, BASIC, C/C++, Pascal, PHP, blah, blah, blah).

| sloppily
| written XML. This is essentially an outline. I expect to double or
| triple this
| before I begin actual coding, and quadruple it into documentation before
