Description:
gv allows to view and navigate through PostScript and PDF documents on an X 
display by providing a user interface for the  ghostscript interpreter.

The current version is 3.5.8 (June 21 1997) 

Some months ago gv was dubbed as a GNU package. RMS just appointed me as the 
new gv maintainer.

So it is already a gnu package.

The actual gv homepage is in http://wwwthep.physik.uni-mainz.de/~plass/gv

There is also a freshmeat project called gnu-gv started by the last gv 
maintainer.

I am going to provide both new homepage and development pages (here at 
savannah).



Other Software Required:
External requirements are only the xaw3d toolkit and ghostscript.

Other Comments:
