Hi Alaska,

It's great to hear that we are now part of Savannah. I told the developers this morning and there are some happy people here!

Yes they are. I'll add a readme file tonight. Do you need to see it or are you ok to just see it when the release goes up on Savannah?

Since the project is already in the Savannah, just make the changes
in the cvs repository or when you make a release there.

I would like to do the same thing with the templates directory (back out the header from each HTML file and just include a readme). I guess that is not a problem?

The provision for having notices in readme file is only for files that
do not have room for textual annotations, for example images, video,
etc. So please do not remove the notices from the files in the templates
directory. Again, these rules are there for legal reasons.

Regarding the Trademark, i'll remove the png files for now and remove the text about the trademark. Will address@hidden get back to me directly about how to deal with this?

I forgot to put you in the CC when I sent the email to rms. I will
forward the reply to you.

Thanks,

Alaska Subedi

thanks *very* much for your time and hard work!

| Hi Alaska,
|
| Please find attached a new version of 'aroundme' containing the changes
| listed below.
|
| To summerize, we have:
| 1. removed all gif images (replaced with png's)
| 2. added the header to all files
| 3. added the copying.txt file
|
| Please read the readme.txt file regarding "copying". If you are uphappy
| with the text here, please advise on how we should write it. What we are
| trying to say is "you can remove or keep our logos when you distribute,
| but you are not allowed to alter our logo images as they are trademarked".

Hi Tom,

We have not had the issue of trademark logo so we've asked rms and
address@hidden for clarification. However, I am going to approve
this project. I don't think the inclusion of the logo should be
a problem but can you remove it until everything is clarified?

The files in the ../texts/ folder seem to be canned messages. Can put
a README file in that folder noting that those files are copyright to
Barnraiser and include the same licence-to-copy blurb?

Thanks for the patience :)

Regards,
Alaska Subedi
