Sami Dalouche <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Mailprobe Bayesian Mail Filter
System name: mailprobe
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This project, which hasn't released any code yet, aims to create a
Bayesian mail filter that will not only allow to sort out spam, but also
to automagically sort emails into several mailboxes.
There already are some bayesian filters out there, like
- Spamprobe (http://spamprobe.sourceforge.net/), which uses only 2
(good/spam) folders.
- POPFile (http://popfile.sourceforge.net/), which allows sorting spam
into several mailboxes. However, it acts as a proxy, and can't really be
integrated into procmail filters, for example
- iFIle (http://www.nongnu.org/ifile/), which allows to do exactly what we
need, but is too obscure.

Our goal is to create a brand-new C# Bayesian mailfilter, that will be
easily integrated w/ MUAs, or mail filters like procmail.
Once we get a working filter, we will start developing plugins for
well-known MUAs like Evolution, or any other client that has C# bindings.

Other Software Required:
The bayesian mail filter will depend on Mono. We're not sure about any
other depends, but in any case, all of them will be free software.
