Please ignore my previous comment - it was meant for another issue.
I've added support for specifying arbitrary arguments to `cvs diff' on the
command line for the contrib/log_accum.pl script distributed with CVS
(http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/cvs/ccvs/contrib/log_accum.pl).
This could be used to solve this issue if the log_accum.pl script used on
Savannah is unified with CVS's per my comments in bug #104562 and bug
#104373.
