Greeting!... to the Lead for OEM Product Development! To the matter...
.
As floppy drives are now no longer in vogue, how can all ICT OEMs transition
to/ convert to "Æ:" as the English default name designation for a PC's
default boot drive and default directory?... and thereby, freeing up A:
through Z: as chosen alphabetic assigned drives and directories!
.
If this one change was effected, prospective PC buyers who've been confused/
disturbed by the C:\ default boot drive/ default directory designation, would
be inclined to purchase a system that/ which has found a way and a willingness
to change this archaic C:\ default boot drive/ default directory designation
confusion and "abuse".
.
Let us move on from the "floppy era" and it's̲ legacy... while, thanking
it's̲ creators for their efforts! Buyers-- I suggest!-- will appreciate the
rational evolution!
.
No emails required!
.
P.S.:... this message should be brought to the attention of Richard M.
Stallman, Todd Weaver of Purism and Sir Tim Berners-Lee at w3.org, at the
earliest opportunity.
