Description:

  Our project has the goal of providing a free as in speech mass mailing
program (used primarily for mailing lists) that will be written in perl and
use many of the Mail modules, it will even have the ability to send via
webmail services (ex: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, etc.) services thanks to
the Mail::Webmail perl modules. It may eventually feature a GUI written in
tcl/tk, though this is not planned for the initial release. It will read all
the recipent from a text file then read a config file containing the method
of sending (Webmail, SMTP) and any necessary usernames and passwords. It will
then prompt the user for a subject and message. And send out the message. It
will be licensed under the GPL. We have no code at the moment but it will be
avalible soon.
