==== Description: ====
MinGW cross compiling environment is a Makefile that compiles a MinGW cross
compiler and cross compiles many free libraries such as GD and SDL. Thus, it
provides a nice MinGW cross compiling environment. All necessary source
packages are downloaded automatically. The Makefile is designed to run on any
Unix system.

This project enables software developers to build win32 versions of their
projects without having to touch a Windows system anymore.

The project is already up and running, has a stable user base and also some
contributors. Currently, I'm hosting it on my personal website, but I'd like
to move it to Savannah to ensure its availability in the future.

==== Other Software Required: ====
The Makefile _needs_ some typical free command line utilities for
downloading, verifying checksums, etc. For a complete list, see:

http://www.profv.de/mingw_cross_env/#requirements

In addition, the Makefile _builds_ cross compilers and several free
libraries. For a complete list, see:

http://www.profv.de/mingw_cross_env/#packages
