Thank you for this hint. Given that for us, GPL compatibility is required, we
decided to remove the node.js dependency from our package. We reimplemented
the build of the Javascript files as a simple C program (jsmods.c in the src/
directory), and at the moment, we do not ship the HTML validator (in the
future, we will use an approach to implement it that does not depends on
node.js).

Please find our newly updated release (which now, does only depends on GCC) at
the following address:

(Alternatively, we also attached a copy of the tarball to this discussion
page).

We hope that now, the situation has been appropriately corrected.
