[Slib-discuss] 'system feature?

Hi Again,

Still busy implementing Scheme / Slib.

SLib appears to make use of a procedure called "system" which is
provided by a feature 'system.

I gather that it is a function to execute shell commands, but have found
it rather challenging to find out any precise details of what procedures
are supposed to be in that feature and exactly what they are supposed to
do.

I'm sure there's a document out there somewhere that defines this
feature... but searching for it using google has been a tad frustrating.
The word "system" appears to be in widespread use in all kinds of
different contexts. Even searches for SLIB + system mostly turn up
documents discussing the vicinity stuff relating to the file "system" or
slib's library "system".

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Kris
