Hi there,
I've been using stumpwm for a couple of months now and really like
it... but firefox is reasonably painfully slow when opening, say, the
"Add-ons" box and checking for updates. The CPU seems to be at 100%, but
I'm not sure what's causing it.
I'm running on SBCL recent cvs and see the problem both with and without
threads. Sooo I was wondering whether anyone knew how to get say
sb:sprof working with stumpwm to find out what's taking all the cpu
cycles. I can happily connect with slime-connect, so can happily feed in
random bits of lisp when required!
Ideally, it would be:
- start stumpwm (via say startx)
- bring up emacs + firefox
- connect using slime + swank
## DO SOMETHING CLEVER HERE
- Bring up the addons dialog in firefox
## READ THE RESULTS
Any ideas?
