Depends on the files. Maybe some jpegtables got expanded in the process
of combining.
Also, it might be that zlib didn't have as much luck with the new file
as with the old file, as some correlated data blocks might have been spaced
too much apart.

"-s 5512" or "-b 8" should help. Both will reduce the quality of the
audio, of course.
