It won't know it is 'incorrect', just like it does't know there is an error.
You have to know which shape it was that is being rendered incorrectly.
Personally, I don't know enough about the internals as yet ( working on it )
in order to attempt a patch. I'm sure one will come now that this topic has
been revisited. Which reminds me..
.. perhaps there should be a 'known bug' tracker/listing section on the wiki?
