Hello,

I am using Synaptic on knoppix, which is debian-based, and I'm missing a certain feature:

When viewing the reverse dependencies of a package (i.e. the packages that depend on that package) it would be helpful to see only those packages that are actually installed on the system.

This makes sense when using certain Distributions (like knoppix) which bring a lot of unneeded packages. This way one could easily check whether a package is vital to the system or not, making it easier to maintain a somewhat cleaner setup (although I agree that it's better to build your own :o)).

I hope this request hasn't been made yet, I couldn't find it in the archive, so I'm making it here.

Greetings and cheerful holidays to everybody,

Anton Roeder
