I hope this helps your user:

There is already the possibilty to filter by repositories. But since
this is really advanced stuff it is only available in the custom created
filters:

Create a new filter in the filter preferences. You can filter by deb
lines if you choose "Origin" from the tab "Properties".

The main problem is that we don't have human readable names for
repositories unlike the channels in redcarpet. Showing the whole deb
line in the section browser or the package describtion won't be a good
solution.
