[Synaptic-devel] synaptic crash on fedora 8

hi there,
i used synaptic on fedora 8 but it does not work at all. when it starts,
says that 2 packages are broken and when i tell him to fix those
packages, it wants to remove 4 packages related to perl-bioperl. But
while trying to remove them, it hangs and even after 5 minutes, it
doesn't resume and i must kill it. And after these, neither rpm nor yum
will not work until restart.

Also when i click on preferences on the application, it crashes and will
be closed.

i will attach my packages installed (latest at the time)
