It came out wrong.

Back to ^L nested in @-commands.  Do you really want something different
from ^L being considered as a regular space by the Parser?  The ^L is
not necessarily lost to the converters, they may still do something with
that character, but my opinion is that it should not stop and start a
paragraph.
