Well, now that I have finally catched up with the mail I had tuesday
and wednesday, I can post the patches I had prepared in the meantime.
I am working toward rewriting the menu.scm code and integrating a
great hack I made some time ago which full implements 'split' for
unary macro expansions. Sound simple, but it is not, and it will allow
some great new things.
Before that, I decided to clean up and document the existing source
code.
First, a cleanup of base.scm to use dotted define notation for
procedures with variable length argument lists.
